ABB’s Enclosed IEC and NEMA starters feature a durable, protective finish with industry exclusive electrophoretic dip coat prime and a power coated surface for added protection. A seamless foam-in-place gasket provides a secure seal against contaminates and ensures a water and dust tight seal, while a pre-drilled mounting plate provides easy mounting for a control circuit transformer kit.
These compact, space-saving starters feature rugged and compact 22 mm pilot devices that meet UL/NEMA Type 1, 3R. 4, 4X. 12 and 13. The disconnect handle accepts 3- 3/8″ padlocks in off position for safe maintenance, while quarter turn enclosure latches allow for quick entry and a proper sealing of the enclosure. The starters are available with non-reversing, reversing, two speed one winding and two speed two winding.
